Introduction website

One rainy afternoon, that turned into weeks, on Maui, during Christmas vacation, at the gym I owned at the time, was oddly packed with a lot of new faces, being curious as always, lol,  I asked quite a few visitors, "Why are you here at noon time, instead of out enjoying Maui?" Most guest had the combination answers, "Its raining and it hasn't stopped for days, all our activities were canceled, not driving to Hana when its pouring down rain, are the other islands like this, and so on and so on." Then one gentleman said something that sparked this whole idea off and put "MyFriendOnHawaii.com" in motion. He said, "This sucks, my girlfriend and I saved for 3 years to come to Maui and it has rained the whole time, wish I could get my money back and come back later, wish I could afford a condo and split the cost with others, at least I could recoup my money later, but we don't have the money to afford one by ourselves, not to mention the wasted money on the car rental and the tourist traps, plus I wanted to propose to her!" Now Here comes the short version:

I felt so bad for him, So I asked him, "I am going to Oahu with one of my lady friends for 3 days, I have a huge 4 bedroom house there, please come and be our guest and make yourselves at home,  I have an extra car you can use, and some extra tickets for a boat cruise, some surf boards on Waikiki beach and the shark cages" Next day we were on Oahu having fun in the sun! Next we planned his marriage proposal to his girlfriend, out in the middle of the ocean, off the north shore of Oahu, just before he and his girlfriend were about to get into the shark cages, the captain of the boat says to him, "Eh braddah, before you 2 become fish food, you have any last wishes?" while bending down on one knee he says, "If this is our last moment together, I want to know if you will be my wife and I will be eaten a happy man."  

Now Fast forward a few months later, the now married couple, who obviously survived the shark cages, lol, was calling me up and asking, "If some friends of hers could come over and stay with me and have me show them around and they would rather pay you, then a hotel and have a new friend show them around. They will pay you for your time, car and housing. WE WERE  ALL OFF TO A GREAT START, booked for a solid 2 years with condos, cars, mopeds, activities, bikes, snorkeling and beach gear that we all split the cost on, with twice the fun at half the cost! 

THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, OUT OF NOWHERE, LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, STOPPED, THE WU-FLU and WE GOT LOCKED DOWN! Not knowing what was going to happen, we all chose to sell the condos, cars and all the other toys. Luckily, price of housing and vehicles skyrocketed and we all made a profit! So, I shut things down and called it a victory for all of us involved with this business adventure.
